On 20.07.2024, Hon’ble Minister, Women Welfare, Child Development Services and Nutrition Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Baby Rani Maurya ji visited Firozabad district and massive tree plantation was done at the TB Chest Ward of Autonomous State Medical College, Firozabad. The theme of this year was “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” and under the guidance of Principal, Dr. (Prof.) Balveer Singh, all the department heads/officers in charge, faculty members, employees, students planted trees in the hospital and college campus. The said program was conducted by Dr. Lekha Tuli, Professor, Microbiology (Officer in charge, Tree Plantation and Beautification) and Dr. Ankita Goyal, Co-Acharya, Community Medicine Department (Co-Officer in charge, Tree Plantation and Beautification).
