Departmental Facilities/Services: Since the inception of the institute in 2019, the department has been providing general ENT care as well as highly specialized tertiary services. The department is carrying out all kinds of routine and tertiary level surgeries, which include microscopic ear surgeries, functional endoscopic sinus surgeries, microlaryngeal surgeries, thyroid surgeries, parotid surgeries, and other head and neck surgeries. The department has an audiology lab that carries out investigations like audiometry and impedance audiometry. Rehabilitation, in the form of hearing aids and speech therapy, is provided.
Future Prospects: The department is soon going to start neonatal hearing screening with OAE. The department plans to begin performing head and neck cancer surgeries, as these malignancies are common in the region.
