International Overdose Awareness Day 2026 | ASMC Firozabad
Theme: “25 Years On. Still Needed.”
The Department of Pharmacology, Autonomous State Medical College, Firozabad, under the guidance of Dr. Yogesh Kumar Goyal, Principal, ASMC Firozabad, observed International Overdose Awareness Day 2026 on 31 August 2026 at Lecture Theatre–5, 200-Bedded Hospital, ASMC Firozabad.

The programme featured an engaging Expert Panel Discussion with:

The event was introduced by Dr Ritu Yadav & Dr Amresh Kumar and moderated by Dr Suruchi Prakash.
The discussion focused on responsible and rational drug use, causes and prevention of overdose, patient counselling, medication safety and drug–drug interactions. Students and healthcare professionals actively participated in this interactive session.
